The Syracuse University Respiratory Protection Program is designed to meet the requirements of the OSHA Respiratory Protection Standard and includes procedures for respiratory hazard evaluations, proper respirator use, training, medical evaluations, respirator selection, and respirator fit testing.
EHSS conducts workplace hazard evaluations to determine if respiratory hazards are present and recommend exposure controls, including respirators when necessary or if under Voluntary Use procedures.
