EHSS provides programs and services to support safe and compliant research at Syracuse University. The core program areas EHSS’ research safety group supports include Laboratory Safety, Chemical Safety, Biosafety, Radiation Safety, and Laser Safety. Through these programs EHSS provides guidance and resources to assist researchers in identifying and mitigating hazards, training personnel and conducting research activities in compliance with applicable state and federal regulations and standards.
