State chemical bulk storage (CBS) tank regulations stipulate requirements for maintaining and operating chemical tanks at the University. EHSS provides guidance to University departments maintaining and operating CBS tanks to assist them in meeting the applicable requirements of the these regulations. EHSS must be notified prior to the procurement, installation, removal or modification of any CBS tank. EHSS must also be notified of any leaks, releases, or equipment malfunctions associated with CBS tanks.
