The EHSS Laboratory Departure process has been established to help ensure proper management of laboratory related hazardous materials and equipment during the transition of personnel and facilities. All chemicals, gases, radioactive, and biological materials must remain at Syracuse University unless transferred to another institution approved by EHSS.
Postdocs, technicians, and graduate & undergraduate researchers must complete the Laboratory Departure process upon:
- Graduation
- Ending current research
- Relocating to a new laboratory space
